Alan Rogers is a fine pianist with a large repertoire that spans many generations of music. Ragtime, novelty music from the late1920s and 30s and many of the so-called ‘evergreens’. When he was resident in the UK he regularly recorded sessions with his trio for BBC Radio 2 and also made several LPs. He has just issued a CD entitled "Connections" that can be ordered from his website, as can most of the specially arranged transcriptions featured on this CD. Alan lives in Zurich, Switzerland, and plays with various bands and as a solo pianist for clients having refined musical tastes. |
