We would like to welcome you to entertainer-search.com and we are sure that entertainers advertising with us will find jobs as a result of using this site.
Selecting entertainment for a venue was a job that was formerly done by an entertainment manager, but nowadays venues rarely have an entertainment manager.. The entertainment managers job was to go out and see various entertainers perform and decide which artist would fit the job. They might also themselves formerly have been a performing artist and therefore would have a knowledge of the entertainment business.
There is no available database that clients can go to when in need of entertainment
and
Artists have no place to advertise themselves for clients to find them.
We have occasionally received emails from agents looking for a particular style and have found from browsing agent’s sites to find that they are always on the lookout for something special. We invite agents to place their ads in entertainer-search.com, as many entertainers will visit this site.
A few entertainers have decided to begin this site to help to bring some order and efficiency to the current not-very-satisfactory situation.
As we collect a database of artists, our website will in due course of time help clients find entertainers.
The website is designed to show a picture and a brief text describing what the entertainer does. If the initial view of the artist catches the attention of the client, they can then visit the entertainer’s website. If the artist’s website also has a short video of them performing, the client would definitely be better able to judge if their style would fit their venue.
We trust that you will spread the word around about this site to clients and entertainers.
Should we get too many artists in a particular category we will subdivide it into more precise categories.
